People living near 'Britain's most flooded road' are to face more disruption as the road closes for resurfacing work.
The A1101 Wash Road in Welney is due to close for roadworks next month.
The stretch of road became infamous over the winter period after being submerged underwater for a record 12 weeks with locals sent on a lengthy 22-mile diversion.

Now people in the area are set for even more disruption due to the two-week closure from August 19.
A spokesman for Norfolk County Council said: "The resurfacing work aims to reduce future maintenance and ensure a smoother running surface.

"Access to properties will be maintained throughout, however, there may be some delays during the daytime when works are taking place.
"We will do everything that we can to keep disruption to a minimum.
"The County Council would like to thank people for their patience while this essential resurfacing is completed."
