A 60-year-old man and his dog have been found dead in a van in the city.
Police were called at around 6.50pm on Monday, July 22 to reports of a man and his dog who were found unconscious in a van in Gurney Road, Norwich.
Both were declared dead at the scene. The road was closed off both ways at Heartsease Lane while emergency services attended the incident, including a forensics van.
Three fire crews from Carrow, Sprowston and Earlham assisted the ambulance service.
The incident was declared under control at around 7.45pm.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances around the deaths.
A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
