An "absolute scourge" has been jailed and banned from several city shops after admitting 18 offences.
Kyle Nunn, of no fixed abode, appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court after hitting several city stores in a shoplifting spree.
The offences took place between May and June this year when items such as chocolate, cheese, meat, coffee, energy drinks and tuna were stolen.
Nunn's thefts would often be on a large scale, with amounts frequently totalling close to £400.

Appearing in court on July 10, he admitted 14 charges of theft from shops across Norwich, two counts of criminal damage, one theft from a motor vehicle and one breach of a suspended sentence.
The 32-year-old also admitted to four other cases between March and May where alcohol and clothes worth more than £800 were stolen in the city.
He was handed a 32-week prison sentence and a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).

The CBO makes it a criminal offence to enter any Co-op in Norfolk for the next four years, as well as banning him from several Tesco, Next, Sainsbury's, Mountain Warehouse and B&M stores across the county.
Duncan Etchells, staff supervisor for Operation Converter said: "Nunn was an absolute scourge in Norwich, targeting the same shops day in and day out and taking large amounts of stock, on occasion hundreds of chocolate bars in one go – and then going back for more in the same day.
“His stealing was brazen and unrelenting with no thought for the effect on businesses and their staff.
"We hope his time in jail allows him to get the help he needs and to reflect on his behaviour.”
