A BMW driver who tried to hide a Rambo-style knife has been told he faces a mandatory jail sentence.
Mark Hale, who has 23 previous offences including for weapons, hid the knife between seats when stopped by police on George Borrow Road in Norwich on January 30.
The 36-year-old, of Earlham Grove, pleaded guilty at Norwich Magistrates’ Court to possessing a knife.
Magistrates were told it carried a mandatory six months and ordered an all options report ahead of his sentencing on October 2.
