A Norfolk seaside town has been named one of the UK's best.
As part of The Sun's Best of British travel series, a team of experts compiled a list of the best coastal spots to consider for a staycation this year.
Gorleston was featured in the ranking, being named a "little gem".
The article commented that "it's close to the traditional seaside fun of Great Yarmouth but is much more relaxed than its noisy neighbour".

It also praised the "crescent of lovely golden sand backed by grassy cliffs" and the range of entertainment on offer including a children's playground, a bowling green and a tennis court.
The author also recommended Jay Jay's Cafe for "a cuppa and a cake after a walk on the sands".
In 2023, the beach won a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award which placed it in the top 10pc of attractions worldwide.
