More than 400 people were without electricity in Norfolk just hours before England's semi-final clash with the Netherlands.
UK Power Networks apologised for any disruption caused due to the unexpected outage - but fans were still crossing their fingers the power will be back before kick off.
The power cut was reported at around 4pm today and was affecting around 427 customers in three postcode areas in north Norfolk.
Engineers have had to turn off the power in the Roughton, Thorpe Market and NR11 area in the interest of the public's health and safety.
Staff were sent to investigate the outage and have removed a tree that brought the overhead cables down.
They estimated that the power would be back on between 5.30pm and 8pm.
The power company have said that this timeframe may change and be extended.
