Former prime minister Liz Truss has lost her seat in the 2024 General Election.
The news came in just before 7am that Tory incumbent Liz Truss had been voted out of the South West Norfolk constituency.
Labour's Terry Jermy won the seat with 11,847 votes, compared to the former PM's 11,217.
In 2019, she won the seat with a majority of 26,195.
Liz Truss was the prime minister less than two years ago, spending only 50 days in office, resigning on October 25 2022 after a mini-budget went wrong.
The ex-PM, who arrived on stage without a blue rosette, could be seen hugging allies but left without making a speech.
Reform UK’s Toby McKenzie took third place with 9,958 votes.
