A man in his 20s has been handed a 40-week jail sentence for dangerous driving after failing to stop for police.
Tyler Tomkinson, of Read Court in Norwich, was driving a silver VW Touareg in St Clements Hill at 2.55pm on Thursday, April 13, last year.
The vehicle caught the eye of nearby police officers who noticed it was uninsured.
They followed him and illuminated their blue lights but Tomkinson, 26, failed to respond and chose to continue driving.

Officers lost sight of the vehicle and continued to search the area, later discovering the VW abandoned close to Tomkinson's address.
When he was caught, he was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
Tomkinson was taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and charged.
He appeared at Norwich Crown Court last Thursday and was sentenced to 40 weeks in prison and disqualified from driving for six years.
He was also told he would need to complete an extended driving test.
