A north Norfolk beach well known for its golden sands and stunning coastal views has been named among the UK's most beautiful dog walks. 

Pet insurance company Petsure recently turned to Instagram and TikTok to determine the most scenic trails to explore across the UK this summer.

The study found that Holkham Beach ranks tenth in the country with 38,205 Instagram posts and 412 TikTok posts under the hashtag #HolkhamBeach.

While it is one of the few beaches in north Norfolk that permits dogs all year round, from April 1 to August 31, the beach does have a dogs-on-leads policy in certain areas of the beach as the Holkham National Nature Reserve comes alive with the shorebird breeding season.

Bushy Park in Greater London, the second largest of London's eight Royal Parks, was crowned the UK's most scenic dog walk with more than 170,000 Instagram posts.
