A village road will close for up to 11 weeks as essential roadworks are carried out.
The £210k works to improve carriageway drainage will see Bunwell Street in Bunwell, near Attleborough, close to traffic from July 15.
The road will close between its junction with Mile Road and Hall Road to its junction with North Road.
The work will involve the construction of a new drainage system to address historic flooding issues.

After surveys of the historic drainage system found it to be beyond serviceable repair, the works were promoted by the County Council’s Maintenance Team.
Access for residents will be maintained during the works with signed diversion routes in place.
There may be some unavoidable temporary restrictions as the works progress but they will be agreed in advance by the operatives on site.
Bus services inclusive of school services will also be diverted around the temporary closure as necessary and pedestrian access through the closure will also be maintained.
The work will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s community and environmental services department and their contractors.
