There was a build-up of heavy traffic and delays on the A146.
Drivers were experiencing severe delays on Loddon Road in both directions due to roadworks near Slade Lane this morning.
Temporary traffic lights are in operation.
The traffic build-up began in Thurton and continued beyond Woolner's Lane.
