He's unlikely to be able to do anything about the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre, but one of the region's election candidates has won the backing of Alan Partridge star Steve Coogan.
Coogan, who was recently back in the county filming the six-part series And Did Those Feet... with Alan Partridge, is endorsing the Green candidate in Waveney Valley.
Coogan filmed a video, posted on X, in which he said: "If you live in Waveney Valley and you want to get the Tories out, the best person to vote for is Adrian Ramsay of the Greens."

Coogan has portrayed the fictional Norfolk-based broadcaster on radio, television, film and podcasts since 1991.
