A man has been arrested after an incident inside a police station in north Norfolk. 

Officers were assisted by the fire service for nearly an hour in the early hours of this morning after a door had been damaged at Aylsham Police Station

During this time a man in his 60s was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and questioned at the same police station.

He has since been released on bail until September 2.

The fire service was stood down at 5am.
