An inquest into the death of a Filipino butcher has been adjourned while a decision is made on whether charges will be brought.
Dominique Hechanova died in Watton when he was walking with his bike across the B1108 Brandon Road at around 5.30am on March 1, 2023.
The 39-year-old, who lived in the town at Merton Road, was involved in a collision with a grey Peugeot 3008 and died at the scene.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the time on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A brief hearing took place at Norfolk Coroner’s Court on June 24.
Area coroner Yvonne Blake said: "We are still awaiting to see if there will be any charges brought, so we can’t continue with an inquest at this current time."
At an earlier inquest opening, the medical cause of death was confirmed as a base to the skull fracture due to a road traffic collision.
An online fundraiser organised in his memory raised more than £5,800.
A further review will take place later in the year in September.
