Commuters were warned not to travel between Norwich and Diss due to a fallen tree this morning.
Train services between Norwich and London Liverpool Street were being disrupted due to damage caused by a tree falling on to an overhead wire.
Disruption, including delays, alterations and cancellations on all lines, was expected until around 3.30pm.
Eight train services had already been cancelled at around 8.00am due to the fallen tree between Norwich and Diss.
A spokesman for Greater Anglia said: "Network Rail staff are expected on site at 6.30am to carry out repairs, at present there is no estimate when repairs will be completed.
"We are trying to resource rail vehicles between Diss and Norwich
"Greater Anglia and Network Rail are sorry if your journey has been affected by this disruption."
All lines have now reopened, meaning that the Liverpool Street and Norwich service is running normally.
