Fire crews are currently fighting a blaze at a house in Costessey.
Eyewitnesses have reported seeing a number of engines and an ambulance parked outside a property on Sunny Close, off Sunny Grove.
The witnesses believe a man has been taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Firefighters have been seen breaking roof tiles to improve their access to the flames.
The cause of the fire and the extent of any injuries currently remains unknown.
