A sliver of the Norfolk countryside is up for sale.

More than half an acre of land by the Norfolk Broads village of Mautby is up for grabs with a guide price of between £10,000 and £20,000.

Going under the hammer with Auction House East Anglia on July 24, the parcel of land is currently suitable for grazing or amenity use.

Being sold with vacant possession, the land - which is located near the junction between Mautby Lane and Swim Road - is in the middle of the Norfolk countryside close to a residential property.

Previously the 0.58-acre site was used for taking a hay crop but has now become overgrown.

It is less than a mile away from Mautby's St Peter and St Paul's Church, which was the site where supporters of Oliver Cromwell burnt down a nearby rectory.
