Sunny Hunny lived up to its nickname as crowds lined the streets for its carnival parade.

Floats, groups and performers made their way from the Recreation Ground to The Green, where thousands had gathered in the sunshine.

The colourful procession was the finale to three days of free entertainment in the resort, which included a Party on the Green hosted by KL1 Radio, headlined by Graham Gouldman and Heart  Full of Songs.

Hunstanton mayor Mike Ruston thanked all involved for their efforts, before handing out certificates for the best floats.

Most imaginative was won by Hunstanton Girl Guiding, while best vehicle went to the Ghostbusters. 

Stamford Showstoppers were awarded best rhythm, with Heavenly Honeys of Heacham judged most colourful.

King's Lynn Steampunk Society scooped the musicality award, with Shelly Keep Fit awarded most fun.
