Audience members will get the chance to know a BAFTA-winning actress a little better as she spends the afternoon at a Norfolk theatre. 

Suranne Jones will be joining Sheringham Little Theatre later this summer for 'An Afternoon With Suranne Jones'.

The actress, who was revealed as the new president of the theatre in February, is known for her roles in television programmes Vigil, Gentleman Jack and Dr Foster.

Receiving BAFTA nominations for all three, she won the award for Best Actress in 2016 for her portrayal of Dr Gemma Foster.

The event is set to take place at 3pm on August 4, with tickets expected to sell quickly.

James McDermott has had a number of plays published and performed in Norfolk and is one of the writers on EastEnders. He also lectures in scriptwriting at The University of East Anglia.
