A forest fire broke out in a country park near the Thetford Forest Live music event.
Three fire crews were sent to tackle the blaze in Brandon Country Park in Thetford Forest this afternoon.
The fire took hold near the B1106 road at midday and covered approximately 100m x 100m of forest and undergrowth.
Crews used a 4x4 misting unit, hose reel jets and beaters to tackle the fire which was brought under control by 1pm.
The Thetford Forest Live music festival is currently taking place a couple of miles away at High Lodge but was unaffected by the fire.
Brandon Fire Station issued a post on Facebook which said: "It's becoming very dry out there, please be careful."
Located in Thetford Forest, Brandon Country Park straddles the Suffolk and Norfolk border, encompassing 30 acres of parkland including dark forests, heathlands, sandy soils and pine trees.
