Advice for students affected by Sir Isaac Newton closure

Gorleston's East Norfolk Sixth Form College has encouraged young people to get in contact if they are affected by the announced "pause" in operations at the Great Yarmouth-based Sir Isaac Newton East (SINE).

This comes as the trust in charge of SINE announced that from September, new and existing students will be transferred to its sister sites 20 miles away in Norwich.

(Image: James Weeds) A spokesperson for East Norfolk Sixth Form College said: "We are able to support and guide any young person who has been affected by the decision to close Sir Isaac Newton East to ensure that their academic journey continues to be successful and that they have a short distance to travel to learn.

"Each year East Norfolk offers more A-levels than any other provider in Norfolk so we are extremely well placed to support students considering A-levels in and around Great Yarmouth."
