The manager of a north Norfolk gastropub is aiming to "bring the community together" with a new live music series. 

The Suffield Arms in Thorpe Market serves a range of beers, wines and cocktails alongside pizzas and Mediterranean tapas. 

They have now launched a new monthly event called the Sunday Sessions from around 3pm to 6pm and it kicked off in May.

The next band is The Foreign Locals on June 30 and it will be outdoors during the summer months and, if successful, indoors over the winter.

George Ash, the general manager, said: "One of our main priorities at The Suffield Arms is to create an experience - whether it be through our food, the pub itself or the entertainment we offer.

"My aim is to bring back that nostalgic pub feel by creating events to bring the community together."

The Suffield Arms, which is a sister business of The Gunton Arms, featured in the prestigious list of the UK's top 100 gastropubs in 2023.
