Norfolk’s largest brewery has relaunched a "homegrown hero" beer for this summer's Euros.
Woodforde’s Brewery, based in Woodbastwick, has unveiled its "new and improved" English Lager, which it hopes will be enjoyed by fans cheering on the Three Lions in pubs across Norfolk this summer.
Aaron Taubman, Woodforde’s Head Brewer, said English Lager is a "homegrown masterpiece" offering “100pc English refreshment”.
“It is great to unveil the new and improved English Lager," he said.
“Its predecessor was a great beer, but didn’t capture the true character of what makes English lagers so special – their light yet delicious flavour which makes them perfect for the Great British summertime.
“What we have created here is exactly that – an easy drinking beer that is a true celebration of local ingredients and British brewing heritage.
“It is a homegrown masterpiece.”

The new-look lager is crafted using premium Norfolk barley together with a blend of English hop strains.
The 4pc beer is said to be a crisp, clean and refreshing accompaniment to a bumper summer of sport – with the Euros, Wimbledon and cricket T20 World Cup set to pack out pub beer gardens.
Mr Taubman added: “English Lager is just the first name on the team sheet in our upcoming line up of lighter beers, which we are sure will prove a hit this summer and beyond.
“Keep an eye out for more updates as we unveil yet more exciting arrivals both here in Norfolk and beyond.”
English Lager is available to pubs in 30l kegs and 440ml cans, which are also available for purchase on the Woodforde’s online store.
Woodforde's also recently launched a new American-inspired craft beer range.
