Although it seems that summer has not yet arrived, eight restaurants in Norfolk have been named among the best in the UK for alfresco dining.
The restaurant review website OpenTable has been ranking its top 100 restaurants for outside dining with eateries across the county gaining a prestigious place on the list.
The north Norfolk area clearly impressed diners with Rocky Bottoms in Cromer, The Dun Cow and The Pigs near Holt, and The Jolly Sailors and The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe all gaining recognition.

Rooftop Gardens was the only restaurant in Norwich to make the list and it was joined by The SugarBeat Eating House in Swainsthorpe.
The Ffolkes at Hilington, which serves food from various local street food vendors all under one roof, was also celebrated by diners.
To help find the perfect alfresco spot, OpenTable scanned diner metrics and more than 2.2 million reviews to narrow down the restaurants where Brits love dining outdoors.
