A taxi ended up in the middle of a troublesome A11 roundabout after crashing into it.
The ABC cab collided with the Stag roundabout opposite Breckland Lodge at around 4.00pm on Monday and an image of the scene has been circulating on social media.
A representative of the firm has now confirmed bosses are aware of the incident but insisted the driver was not working for ABC at the time.
He said: “We are aware of an incident involving a car on the A11 Stag Roundabout at Attleborough on Monday.
"We can confirm that the driver was an ABC driver-partner but was not engaged by ABC at the time and no passengers were onboard.”
A Norfolk Constabulary spokeswoman added officers attended the scene but said nobody was injured.
The roundabout has been a hotspot for crashes in recent years.
The most well-known incident at the spot happened in 2018 when a van drove into the roundabout at speed and vaulted into the air.
Three people were injured and the then-17-year-old driver was handed a 12-month driving ban, was ordered to do an extended retest, pay £310 and complete 80 hours of unpaid work.
