Have your eyes to the skies this summer as the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team will appear at three Norfolk events.

The Falcons are based at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire and they perform at venues across Europe every year, reaching speeds of up to 120mph.

They demonstrate an array of advanced manoeuvres and use coloured smoke to illustrate an aerial pattern.

The RAF Falcons will appear at The Royal Norfolk Show on June 26 and 27, with performances at 11.15am and 6.40pm on Wednesday and 10.15am and 6.15pm on Thursday.

They are also booked for the Old Buckenham Airshow over the weekend of July 27 and 28, with the timings yet to be announced.

The line-up for the airshow also includes an RAF Typhoon, capable of going from a standing start on a runway to 1,150mph at 35,000ft in two minutes.
