A new dining and events venue will welcome the hottest culinary talents to the Norfolk countryside. 

The Copse is opening at the Raynham Estate, near Fakenham, and it has been in the pipeline for almost five years.

It is located in the picturesque parkland and the building is clad with estate-felled wood.

The venue will launch on July 4 and 5 2024 with 'Wood at The Copse - Hosted by Lord Tom Raynham'.

It will feature renowned chef George Wood from the award-winning Norwich restaurant Brix and Bones. 

The four-course menu will harness Wood's 10 years of experience cooking over open flames.

Each dish will showcase carefully sourced, seasonal and sustainable ingredients from breeders and small businesses in Norfolk and across the UK.

Lord Tom Raynham said: "The Copse is nearly five years in the making and I couldn’t be more excited to see it all come to fruition, especially with a chef like George to kickstart it."
