Two men have appeared in court after being charged with burglary offences in Lowestoft.
Police were called just before 10.30pm on May 30 to reports of a burglary in progress at a property in Beresford Road.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the property but a second male suspect fled the scene.
Following enquiries, a 31-year-old man was identified and arrested.
Jacob Doy, aged 25 and of Halcyon Crescent in Lowestoft, and Toby Maxwell, 31, of Kingfisher Crescent in Southwold were subsequently charged with two counts of burglary.
The pair appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and both defendants were released on bail ahead of their next court date.
