A new seafront wine shop and bar run by a sommelier who has worked in some of the world's best restaurants has revealed its opening date.
Bert Blaize, a former young sommelier of the year, is launching North Norfolk Cellars on the idyllic Wells Quay.
The wine expert from Staffordshire learnt his craft at La Bell Epoque in Manchester before moving to the two Michelin-starred Le Manoir.
The 35-year-old, who GQ and Imbible have commended, said: "Having helped open other people's shops I thought it was time to do it myself.
"Wells is absolutely beautiful, it is a perfect location and such a well-known building."
The new shop is to open in the former Chandlery building in The Quay with the refurbishment nearly completed.
It will be home to a selection of curated specialist wines, with some from regional producers such as Flint, based near Bungay.
The launch weekend, from June 13 to June 15, will include guests from Brancaster Gin and Burn Valley Vineyard as well as a selection of pop-up food stalls.
