A pub on the outskirts of Norwich has been sold after receiving an impressive nine offers. 

Roadside family pub The Green Man in Rackheath was purchased by Marcus Pearcey, a local businessman aiming to breathe new life into the establishment.

Situated just five miles from the city centre, the Wroxham Road pub had to close in 2022 due to rising running costs but has been a fixture in the village since 1780 when its first licensee was recorded.
