New energy efficient homes built in a north Norfolk village are set to be available to buy and rent. 

Broadland St Benedicts has built 19 new homes off Broadgate Close in Northrepps, south of Cromer. 

The homes consist of one, two and three-bedroom bungalows and four bedroom houses. Nine are available to purchase on the open market and two are for sale via shared ownership.

Prices for the open market homes range from £335,000 - £500,000, with additional options available for shared ownership and affordable rents.

The energy efficient homes have been designed with a variety of cost-saving measures, including eco features like solar panels, electric vehicle charging points and air source heat pumps. 

The homes are the first that the Norwich-based housing association has designed to be ‘net carbon zero’ - meaning any carbon emissions they create are balanced out by taking the same amount out of the atmosphere.
