A man who threatened a person with a knife was one of 15 people arrested during a police crackdown in Suffolk.
Officers conducted high-visibility patrols, 16 weapon sweeps and visits to individuals suspected of carrying knives between May 13 and May 19.
Nine stop searches led to two arrests with two knives recovered.
Patrick Houghton, aged 49 and of Osborne Street in Lowestoft, was charged with threatening a person with a kitchen knife.
He appeared before Norwich Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to the charge.
Houghton is due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on June 10.
Acting Inspector Ed Scott said: “As always, the public plays a vital role in helping to keep knives off our streets.
"If you know someone is carrying a knife, purchasing one or that someone is being exploited to do so, please report it to us so that we can take appropriate action.
“Suffolk Constabulary will continue to take robust action to those who break the law and remain committed to proactively tackling knife crime and violent offending.”
