Three people who were arrested after a man was stabbed in Dereham town centre have been released on police bail.
A man in his 40s suffered two stab wounds and a head injury around 2am on Friday morning, following reports of a fight.
Police arrested a teenage man, a teenage woman and a woman in her 20s on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
The trio were then taken to King's Lynn for questioning and have since been released on police bail.
An eyewitness from Crown Place, which overlooks the area where the incident took place, had described how "horrific" it was to witness the assault.
He had said police flooded Church Street in the early hours of May 24, and an air ambulance was called to take the victim to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
After receiving treatment, he was then discharged.
A police statement said: "All three have been released on police bail while inquiries continue."
