A three-day event on a Norfolk heritage railway will feature guest locomotives and pitstops for a pint.
The North Norfolk Railway, which runs between Sheringham and Holt, is hosting Rails & Ales from Friday, June 7 until Sunday, June 9 2024.
The popular event will feature 10 historic steam and diesel locos, including five that are visiting The Poppy Line for the long weekend.

These are Class 50 50008 “Thunderer”, Class 33 33012 “Lt. Jenny Lewis RN”, Class 25 Diesel Engine D7659 and Steam Locomotive No 22, with the final guest yet to be announced.
Graham Hukins, interim general manager, said: "Neither the 50008 or 33012 locomotives have hauled passenger trains on The Poppy Line before, so we are pleased to be able to offer this unique opportunity to enthusiasts, locals and holidaymakers alike."

Away from the tracks, ales will feature at each of the line’s three stations and on certain trains.
There will be bottled beers and ciders at Sheringham and Holt, with a real ale bar and also live music at Weybourne.
