Three people have been arrested after a man in his 40s was stabbed in Dereham. 

The man suffered two stab wounds and a head injury following reports of a fight in Church Street shortly after 2am today. 

He was taken by ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

A male teenager, female teenager and a woman in her 20s have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

They were taken to King’s Lynn Police Station for questioning where they remain.

The police cordon has now been lifted and the investigation remains ongoing.
