The King William IV in Sedgeford, near Hunstanton, has been acquired by the award-winning Coaching Inn Group which takes on historic market town inns and restores them to their former glory.
It owns more than 30 venues across the country including two other north Norfolk spots -The Coastal Manor Hotel and Inn in Blakeney and The Pheasant in Holt.

The reopening of the venue was marked by parish council chairperson, Sue Crump, cutting a ribbon at the front door.
Adam Charity, The Coaching Inn Group's COO, explained the business' ethos is based on "offering hospitality from the heart" and ensuring all its venues play a role in their local communities.
“Our endorsement as a Which? Recommended Provider and being awarded the title of AA Hotel Group of the Year demonstrates our passion for providing excellent hospitality across all our historic hotels and inns,” he said.
