Three anglers were rescued after becoming lost in the fog on the Stiffkey Marshes.
The RNLI was first alerted to the disorientated anglers just after 11.30pm on Friday.
Due to the low tide, Wells RNLI deployed its inshore lifeboat from the Holkham Bay launch site half an hour later.

The Sheringham and Wells coastguard teams were also paged for assistance.
The local coastguard arrived at the scene and spotted the anglers' bright lights which were used to guide them to safety.
The Inshore D-class lifeboat ‘Peter Wilcox’ had just arrived on scene and was stood down and returned to Wells Boathouse at around 1am on Saturday.
It was cleaned and refuelled by 1.30am.
