A 59-year-old mother died after ingesting toxic levels of over-the-counter pain relief, a court has heard.
Sarah Overill, of Limmer Road, Gorleston, was found dead at her home on the afternoon of March 25.
An inquest into her death was opened by senior coroner Jacqueline Lake at Norfolk Coroner’s Court on May 16.
The court, based at County Hall, was told during the brief hearing that Ms Overill died from acute gastric haemorrhage and erosive gastritis due to, or because of, paracetamol toxicity.
A full inquest to determine the official cause of death will take place in November.
Ms Overill had been born in Bedford on June 8, 1964, and was unemployed at the time of her death.
