Drivers have been warned of disruption near Downham Market due to a £120,000 project.

The A1122 in Fincham will be closed for several dates while surfacing, line painting and road stud renewal are carried out.

The Norfolk County Council work is due to start on May 21 and the road will be closed for overnight road stud removal from 7pm.

The first surface dressing will take place on June 4 from 9am to 6pm and overnight road marking replacement will be carried out on June 13 at 7pm.

Further road stud replacement work will take place on June 14 at 7pm.

A fully signed diversion route will be in operation for the duration of the works and access to properties will be maintained at all times.

The project is part of the council's plan to reseal 280 miles of the county's roads to prevent water damage and potholes.
