The father of a teenager stabbed to death has denied threatening two people with a knife three days after his son’s killers were found guilty.
Raymond Quigley, 61, will stand trial charged over an alleged incident at his home at Tipperary Avenue in Wymondham on January 29.
He is accused of having used a kitchen knife to threaten a man and a woman.
Appearing at Norwich Crown Court he entered not guilty pleas to both charges.
Judge Anthony Bate set a date for his trial, expected to last three days, to take place from February 10 next year.
The court was told both the alleged victims had been employees of Serco.
Oliver Haswell, for Quigley, said they would be seeking employment records and schedules to determine whether they had been aware of the “emotional scene” involving Quigley at the time.
His son Raymond James Quigley, known as James, was fatally stabbed in Ipswich town centre in 2023.
Alfie Hammett and Joshua Howell, both 19, were found guilty of murder on January 26 and were subsequently sentenced to minimum terms of 24 and 20 years respectively.
