A town's much anticipated annual charity cycle ride is returning this weekend.
The Beccles Cycle for Life charity ride starts at the Sir John Leman High School this Sunday before the start time of 10am and people can enter and pay on the day.
Organisers say it is best to allow 30 minutes or so to sign up and prepare.
Advance entries are now closed but everyone is welcome on the day.
The entry fee will be £25 for adults and they can enter children free of charge, by courtesy of sponsorship by Norfolk and Suffolk Chartered Financial Planners.
The annual event is organised by Beccles Rotary Club.
A spokesman for the Rotary said, “We want to encourage local people to ride, either solo or with friends or as family groups.
"We also welcome the faster riders, as there’s a suitable distance for everyone.
“Payment can be made by card or cash. This year we have a wonderful tombola, with great prizes donated by local businesses and also the usual refreshments by the Inner Wheel Club of Beccles.”
Distances offered are eight, 16, 25, 41 or 50 miles on country roads south of Beccles. A certificate will be offered to all who finish.
Lord Somerleyton is offering a prize of free entry for a family of four to the gardens at Somerleyton Hall, to be won by the rider who raises the most sponsorship.
This year’s 22nd ride is to raise funds for East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Rotary club’s charitable trust in equal shares.
