Drivers are being warned of long delays on the A11 as a series of closures with a 64-mile diversion begin today.
On one of the region's busiest roads, the roadworks will run along the Attleborough bypass between the Quidenham and Besthorpe Parish boundaries.
The first closure will begin tonight at 8pm between Thickthorn and Attleborough with it set to reopen at 6am.

Tomorrow a full closure of the Spooner Row southbound slip road will begin until mid-summer.
This weekend the northbound lane between Attleborough and Thickthorn will be closed from 8pm until 6am which could cause disruption over the bank holiday.
An official 64-mile diversion route will be in place to take drivers from Attleborough into Thetford, Swaffham and Easton before looping back to Wymondham.
