A Norfolk nitrogen pump business is set to change the way the oil and gas industry accesses equipment, with a new direct to customer rental service never before offered by a UK firm.

Great Yarmouth’s Prior Power Solutions is already one of the UK’s leading providers of nitrogen pumps.

And with demand growing for its products, bosses hope this new offering will help to meet the needs of the the region’s oil and gas industry.

The firm has invested £1m into launching the service, which will provide customers with a range of rental products that can be used across applications including purging, wellbore cleanouts, and nitrogen perforation.

This is the first time users have been able to rent these types of products directly from a British manufacturer, and will provide a lower-cost way for customers to access essential equipment.

James Rix, managing director at Prior Power Solutions said: “By launching this offering we are responding to this customer demand, providing the market with new equipment that has been designed with ease of maintenance and operation in mind combined with the technical support and back up of a team that has been manufacturing these for over 30 years.”
