A young man who died in a crash on the A10 last week has been named after an inquest into his death was opened.

Cameron Lewis, from Downham Market, died on Wednesday, April 24, after he was involved in a two-vehicle collision on the A10 at Southery, near Downham Market.

The incident happened at around 9.10pm that evening following a crash between a black Volkswagen Golf driven by Mr Lewis and a black VW Transporter.

Mr Lewis died at the scene, while the driver of the Transporter, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

The road was closed while emergency services, including the air ambulance, attended the scene.

An inquest into the 22-year-old's death opened in Norwich on Tuesday.
