An investigation into a crash where a pedestrian was hit by a car in Norwich has been closed, police have confirmed.
A witness appeal was launched after a black Mercedes E class car crashed into a pedestrian on the A140 Guardian Road, at the junction with Bowthorpe Road.
The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital following the crash, which happened just after 8.50pm on Saturday, March 2.
It resulted in the road being closed while emergency services attended.
Police wanted information from those who might have witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage of the crash.
Officers were particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw the black Mercedes and a blue Audi A8 prior to the crash.
But police have now formally closed the case.
A Norfolk Police spokesman said: "All lines of enquiry have been exhausted and the case has been closed.
"Of course, we would always review any new information provided to us.”
Information to police on 101.
