A barn beside a village pub could become a coffee shop and bakery.
Anglian Country Inns is renovating the White Horse at Holme, near Hunstanton, after buying the 18th century pub earlier this year.
Changes include restoring the building on Kirkgate, in the middle of the village, to its original white colour, before it reopens next month.
Now ACI has applied for planning permission to convert a barn used as storage at the site into a coffee shop and bakery.
It says in a planning statement the barn has had a number of uses including a live music venue and storage for the pub.
It said the main area of the L-shaped building would be used for the coffee shop, with the bakery beside it.
Proposals also include a raised decking courtyard shaded by a large parasol.
The scheme will create two full and two part-time jobs.
A decision is expected later this year.
