School children swapped textbooks for handcuffs during an educational visit from a policeman.
PC Johnson from Norfolk police paid a call to Swaffham Church of England Primary Academy, sharing insights into his job and the importance of road safety, including the well-known 'stop, look and listen' phrase.
The youngsters, spanning Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, also had the opportunity to don various police hats and pose their questions to PC Johnson.
Laura McWilliam, a staff member at the school, said: "The children enjoyed their experience with PC Johnson.

"We were delighted that Norfolk police could help us provide hands-on real-life learning experiences for our children.
"They absolutely loved it and were so happy to have the chance to sit in the back of the police car.
"They have even produced some brilliant writing about the visit.
"We are very proud of our relevant, broad and balanced curriculum in school.
"Last term we had the fire engine visit too which again, the children loved.”
