One man was taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash closed the A11 at Thetford.
Police were called to the roundabout beside the Forest Retail Park just after 5.30pm on Friday.
The crash involved a BMW, a Hyundai, an Astra and a Mercedes and the road was closed by police.
Fire crews attended and released the Hyundai driver using hydraulic rescue equipment.
One man was taken by ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
One lane reopened at 8.37pm but the road was not fully clear until 10.30pm.
The crash was one of many disruptions on the A11 on Friday with a motorcyclist and a Ford Fiesta crashing at the Mundford roundabout just before 5pm.
The motorcyclist, an adult man, was transported to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment.
A horse box also broke down on the same carriageway soon after.
Earlier in the day at 6.15am, three people were taken to hospital after a car and a van crashed in London Road which adjoins the A11 and runs alongside Forest Retail Park.
