A new shop dedicated to scale models has opened in a north Norfolk village.
Scenegineer Scale Models has opened for business in Roughton selling scale model vehicles, scenics, model kits and second-hand items.
Found in Thorpe Market Road, the business was started by Paul Rice and his nephews Frank and Nick.
A former policeman, Mr Rice, 64, is looking forward to focusing on his creative side by building and restoring items as well as passing on his knowledge by giving classes on the basics of scenery building.
Mr Rice briefly worked in a model shop as a teenager before he joined the police, but kept the hobby up by building model railways and scenery.

It was Mr Rice's nephew Nick who had the idea to start the business and they found the unit, a former pet shop, only six weeks ago.
Mr Rice said: "Things have moved very fast - we’re getting lots of enquiries and I've already had some commissions.
"It’s an incredibly calming hobby, like a mindfulness activity.
"I've worked with people that have ADHD and autism and I've noticed that focusing on something creative can be almost therapeutic.
"It can really help people and with the classes and demonstrations I’d like to bring it to a wider audience."
The workshops and classes will be available from May and Mr Rice also hopes to set up some free demonstrations in the shop to show how things are made.
The shop is currently open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm with plans to open seven days a week during the holiday season.
