A TV presenter raved about Norfolk when she visited over the Easter holidays for a getaway with her children.

Mum-of-three Helen Skelton posted a series of snaps from her recent trip on her Instagram account, which has almost half a million followers.

This included photos of her and her children on Wells Beach, with a backdrop of the colourful beach huts.

She captioned one of the posts: "Norfolk what a treat - thank you so much for having us Hoseasons and Darwin Escapes.

"I am not obligated to say but always keen to give credit where it is due - a wonderful place, fabulous people, fantastically clean and brilliantly set up for our family get-together with five little people under nine."

The Countryfile presenter, who fronted Blue Peter from 2008 to 2013, also posted pictures of a family picnic and a trip to the arcade.

Skelton, who was born in Carlisle in Cumbria, finished as the runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing with pro Gorka Márquez in 2022.
